Privacy Policy

HuntCustomer ("we", "us") provides a sales platform: a CRM, browser and mobile calling, lead discovery, email sequences, and related services. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions any time: contact us.

1. Information we collect

• Account data — name, email, password (stored as a salted hash), workspace name, and role.
• Customer content — the prospect and contact records, notes, tasks, documents, files, campaign lists, scripts, and email content that you and your team create or upload. This data belongs to you; we process it only to run the service.
• Call data — when you use HuntCustomer numbers, we process call metadata (numbers, time, duration, outcome). Where recording is enabled and lawful, we store call recordings, machine transcripts, and AI-generated summaries attached to the relevant prospect record. Recording is automatically disabled for calls into all-party-consent states.
• Payment data — payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers. We keep billing records (plan, invoices, credits).
• Device & usage data — log data such as IP address, browser type, and pages used, for security and debugging. The mobile app uses a push token so incoming calls can ring your device.

2. How we use information

• To provide, secure, and improve the service (including AI features such as call summaries).
• To bill you and send service emails (receipts, password resets, invites, booking confirmations).
• To comply with law, including telemarketing regulations — the platform enforces calling windows and Do-Not-Call lists.
• We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your customer content to train AI models.

3. Service providers

We share data only with the processors needed to run HuntCustomer: Twilio (calling, recordings, transcription), Anthropic (AI call summaries), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Apify (business-listing lead search), Google Firebase (mobile push notifications), and our hosting provider. Each receives only what its function requires.

4. Call recording notice

If you are on a call with a HuntCustomer user, the call may be recorded and transcribed for note-taking and quality purposes where permitted by law. The account owner controls recording; recording is disabled by the platform for destinations in all-party-consent jurisdictions unless consent is obtained.

5. Lead data

The Lead Finder returns publicly available business-listing information (business name, phone, address, category, rating). It is intended for business-to-business outreach. Individuals may ask us or the relevant workspace owner to suppress their number via a Do-Not-Call entry at any time.

6. Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. When a workspace is deleted, its customer content — contacts, recordings, transcripts, documents, files — is deleted from our production systems within 30 days, with encrypted backups expiring on a rolling 30-day cycle. You may export your data or request deletion at any time.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the CCPA), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Send requests via the contact form; we respond within 30 days.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and protected by workspace-level isolation — every record is scoped to your workspace. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Access tokens for the mobile app are stored hashed and can be revoked by signing out.

9. Children

HuntCustomer is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 18.

10. Changes

We will post any changes to this policy here and update the effective date. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice.
